Why you'll love it

  • Available in Red Oak
  • Same contractor-grade parts the pros use, with help from our Hamilton, NJ showroom
SKU: 6210-B Categories: ,

The Bending 6210 Series Wide Colonial Handrail is tailored for curved staircase configurations, expanding on the design and functionality of the straight 6210 series. This handrail is especially suited for larger staircases featuring substantial newel posts, like box newels. It retains the Colonial style profile but is crafted with a wider dimension to accommodate the scale and curvature of more expansive stair designs. The key feature of this bending handrail is its construction in multiple slices, which allows for effective and precise bending to match the contours of curved staircases. This design aspect makes it an ideal choice for custom, curved stair installations where a wider handrail profile is desired. Each piece of the Bending 6210 Series is ensured to be free from knots and defects, maintaining a consistent and high-quality appearance. While the handrail is prepared for staining, a light sanding is recommended post-installation to ensure an optimal surface for finishing. Available in various wood types, lengths, and styles, the Bending 6210 Series offers flexibility in design choices to suit specific project requirements. The inclusion of side mouldings is a thoughtful addition, serving to protect the rail during the bending process. Like its straight counterpart, this series also supports a full range of handrail fittings, accommodating different stair configurations. Orders can be placed for single pieces or in bulk, depending on the scale of the project. 6210 Bending Handrail Measurements 2-3/8″ tall 2-5/8″ wide on top 2″ wide on bottom Available in the following construction styles and lengths: Engineered Red Oak – 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18 & 20 ft.
